Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hypeline, LLC, doing business as Hypeline Digital and a Dignetix company ("Hypeline Digital," "we," "us"), collects, uses, stores and protects information when you visit hypelinedigital.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Hypeline Digital provides digital marketing services to small and midsize businesses from Troy, Michigan. For the information described in this policy, we act as the data controller.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run the Site.

Information you give us

• Free presence snapshot: the website address you enter. If you ask us to send your snapshot, also your name, email address and company.
• Contact and booking requests: your name, email address, company (optional) and your message.
• Partner Retainer waitlist: your name, email address, company and a short description of what you need.
• Newsletter: your email address.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs kept by our hosting provider to operate and secure the Site: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps.
• Privacy-preserving analytics. We measure traffic with Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that we host ourselves. It reports aggregate page views and does not track you across other websites.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

3. How we use information

• To respond to your request, prepare your snapshot and follow up with you.
• To send the newsletter, if you signed up. Every issue includes a way to unsubscribe.
• To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies.

4. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Site and reply to you:

• Vercel hosts the Site and processes server logs.
• Resend delivers our emails, including form notifications and replies.
• Umami provides analytics and runs on infrastructure we control.
• Dignetix business systems that we use to manage client relationships, such as our customer relationship management system.

These providers may only use the information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our visitors or ourselves.

Business transfers

If Hypeline Digital, Dignetix or the assets relating to the Site are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, change of control, or a sale or transfer of all or part of the business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The recipient will be required to honor this Privacy Policy or to provide equivalent protection.

5. Security

The Site is served over an encrypted connection (TLS), and access to the information you send us is limited to the people who need it to respond. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of unauthorized access to your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. How long we keep information

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to manage any resulting client relationship, and newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We respond within 30 days.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to correct inaccurate information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA); and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers (such as name and email address), commercial information (such as your company and what you need), internet or network activity (such as server logs) and other information you choose to send us.

8. Cookies

The Site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers, and our analytics are cookieless, so no cookie banner is needed. If a booking calendar is added to the Site, it will load only when you choose to open it, and its provider may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
